Evicting my roommate

Hi ladies, I need some advice. I’ve googled and googled and googled but I still want second opinions. My roommate had decided to only give me 140 all months for the 450-500 he actually owes for his part of the bill. I asked him when he was going to pay and he said that he has other things to take care of and that he will get it to me when he can. I think the fuck not. He made me two weeks late to pay this past months rent, with only 100 from him out of the 700 dollar rent. The only bills he has outside of his responsibilities of the house is a 45 dollar phone bill and his truck insurance ( less than 300). But he had money for a shit ton of junk food and weed. I want him out of my house NOW. He is NOT on the lease and there is NOT a written agreement. He needed a place to go and I had the room. I don’t ask him to do anything unless I absolutely have to and I don’t ask him to clean anything other than after himself. His dog even sleeps in my room with me and my pups. He doesn’t buy food for him or offer to buy food, so he’s dog has pretty much become my own. He eats with my dogs, he sleeps with me in my bed and everything. How can I get him the fuck out of my house? Legally? TIA

Edit 1: I’m in Alabama. I would be kicking him out for not paying rent.
