Amniocentesis *SUPPORT PLEASE*

Hi.. I have an Amnio next week and I am completely terrified. Not just for the procedure itself but for the chances of miscarriage. Everything from the size of the needle to the fact that it will literally be piercing the only thing keeping my baby safe, is honestly petrifying to me.

My partner & I aren’t going to terminate but we want to know so that the doctors can prepare correctly for delivery and we can mentally and physically prepare ourselves too.

Has anyone had an Amnio and have any advice or can tell me about their experience?
