Christmas and birthday ideas?

I’m starting to think about Christmas shopping and how close Baby’s first birthday is to Christmas. Does anyone have ideas for gifts? We have a 3 year old boy so we have soooo many hand me downs too.

This being my 10th Xmas as a mom, I now know to start shopping and thinking about it early lol I’ve already started buying things when they go on sale, and have a list of the rest of the stuff I want to get and just buy as they go on sale. For my soon to be 10-month-old, I have some musical instruments, puzzles, stacking toys, an activity table, a toy box for my living room, books, some outfits, a little wagon, a sleigh, a toy vacuum since he likes to “help” me clean. I’ll get some snacks for his stocking and maybe a new cup, utensils or whatever baby may need for eating. I did get him a walker but had to give it to him early when he started trying to walk a few weeks ago. Honestly for my son’s first birthday I’ll probably just keep one of the bigger presents to set aside to give on his bday (his bday is New Year’s Day so it’s super close to Xmas). They don’t know what’s going on at this age so just get what you feel they need. Mine is getting bored with the toys he has so I’m going to try to get a good amount of age appropriate toys so we can switch them out and keep him busy.

Following. I started searching when I saw this and nothing. I never attended a one year old party or went to many toddler parties so I’m beyond confused. Like what do babies do? And what are adults suppose to do? Like sit and watch their babies? What kind of food? Is it okay to bring baby food for the children and adult food? So many questions
