Baby is here💃🏼 10/27/19

Baby Avery is here and I can’t be grateful enough. I he weighed 16lbs13oz and he is 20” and was born 4:33am.

have been in labor since Friday evening contracting off and on, then I slept through it, then on Saturday it picked up a little then I had my bloody show. So I already had my induction set for yesterday night at 8pm. And on my last appointment they said my cervix was soft and I was not dilated at all. So sha my contractions started getting closer together then I get a phone call from the hospital that oh I should not come in because they had two emergencies and I should call back again at 9pm. So I told them I have 5mins contraction for 1hr and I lost my mucus plug and my water might be trickling down too. So they said I should come and get checked at the triage area and if nothing is going on they will send me home. So they checked and said I was 1.5cm dilated and 80% effaced and before she could check my cervix she saw water trickle down too so they decided to admit me and they started me on pitocin to minimize the risk of infection. Then contractions started to get really really bad and closer together then they checked I was only a 2cm I wanted to cry. So I told them o wanted epidural. They finally bring me the anesthesiologists. Then they gave me epidural, it kicked in immediately best decision ever😁😁 so baby’s blood pressure started to drop and mine too. So they stopped pitocin and my body took over within an hour and dilated to an 8 then they said hmm we might be getting baby sooner then in 30-40mins I was already a 10cm. And it was time to push😁 pushed for about 15-20mins and baby was here.
