Do u think it’s wrong to put a tracking device on your teenage child’s car?

What do u all think? There’s been another missing teenage girl I just read about on Facebook she’s been missing for a week after meeting up with a boy has not been found but her car was found. Not to mention just 30 minutes from where I live a few months ago 49 people were arrested for being apart of a sex trafficking operation... do u think it’s ok to put trackers on your teenagers car? Or tracking app on their phone? Or is that wrong and an invasion of privacy just need some opinions here......
