Induction day and fears 😱

Today is my induction day! Granted i don’t go into the hospital until 8pm. But I’m feeling SO nervous! This is my first.

My main fears are:

Contractions- I’m just scared of pain 😭

-when to get epidural—I definitely want one! Can the dosage wear off before pushing?

-actually pushing—will I feel the pain with the epidural? I’m so scared of ripping and tearing. I’ve always been on the smaller side and that terrifies me with post-partum pain too

-having to go #2 at hospital after—I hear it can be so painful and I’ve had nightmares about it

I guess overall I’m just anxious about the pain and it turning into a very unhappy experience. But I can’t wait to meet my little girl! Anyone else getting close and feeling scared/nervous? Anybody have any reassuring words?
