Abuse..Divorce and being a single mom

Hello everyone, So we r in marriage 7 years with 6 yr daughter and 2 year son. He is abuser and has trust issues i think hebis mentally ill. and blocked everything for me (blocked from havibg friends having my own money etc..). At the beginning i was scared but now im not scared of anything. Just started a part time job. And got driving classes to get my license my family(they r not here) will help me to get a car then im planing tonsave some money and leave. But.... His plan changed now he wants to divorce me. Yesterday we talked and we decided to divorce and he will keep our daughter and i keep my son because that way it will be easier for both of us. On top of all that he is good father for kids. But problem is i dont have anywhere to go. And he give me time until med November . I dont have a car yet too. Im confused....im not sure how honest he is about divorce. I mean he really wants it or he just want to test me and my reaction. Well if it is true what should i do? where should i go? and how to keep my job? Whos gonna watch my son? Help plz
