What do you tip

Okay so I’m a bartender I always tip . Even on carry out orders. 20% always no matter what . If service is amazing I’ll even match the tip . But I never know what to tip on pizza delivery. When I lived in nyc I always was a decent tipper because I lived in a 5th floor walk up and they would come on foot or their bike . Lol but now I live in the suburbs , they pull up in their car . I tipped $3 on a 24 bill . Im speaking specifically on pizza 🍕.

I tip at least $5 every time, usually more like $7-$8. Id tip even more if I ordered a lot of food. My first job was at a pizza place. The drivers didn’t even make minimum wage and they did the same work as in-store employees when they weren’t out on deliveries. They deserve to be tipped well.

I usually tip $3 for pizza delivery and if I'm going to a nice or decent restaurant then I usually tip $5 however if i have extra money or the waitress was really good/nice and accommodating then I might do $10. If I stay in a hotel and I have a good housekeeper then I tip $5 each day. I'm a housekeeper and you would be surprised at how little people tip. In 1 week I might have 5 people that tipped but then another week I might have none and another week I have a ton of tips.

Our pizza delivery place has the tip added in for you, so you don't need to figure it out (or you can add more if you want) it's usually around $5 and our orders are around $25 before tip & tax. I'm not sure how it works everywhere (or because ours is a local business) but the delivery people don't make a lot of money so they appreciate their tips a lot.
