Any tips?

We found out yesterday that we are expecting a Girl and i plan to create my baby registry tmrw with my husband, we are first time parents and alittle clueless! Is there any tips or suggestions or recommendations anyone might have? Thank you in advance

My advice is register at lots of stores! Buy buy Baby, Target, and Amazon have gift bags you get when joining (amazons you have to buy $10 off your registry to get it). Also a lot of stores have a completion discount so even if you don’t get stuff on your registries as gifts, the store will give you a discount on remaining items when you get closer to your due date. Also register for diapers! And for clothes and diapers it’s a good idea to register for multiple sizes 😊

I agree with Genna! You really don’t need something in every aisle. I enlisted the help of my friend who had a one year old for my first! But i would say diapers, wipes, a few different kinds of bottles (even if you plan to breastfeed, they may eventually switch), pacifier, onesies, swaddles, something for the baby to sleep in, and those boppy nursing pillows! Honestly the first few months I only needed stuff to get her to sleep consistently 😂😂

We did target and amazon for our first. You dont need as much as you think you might. As far as stuff, one thing we couldn't get by with out for both girls was a bouncer that they lay in. It was a life saver when they want to be in constant motion. Also a soft carrier for skin to skin and having hands free.

I went to buy buy baby and downloaded the app to look at as i shopped, they have a checklist for every possible item/category you could think of! really helped me make sure i had all of the essentials
