Is anyone else doing Christmas photos? Professionally or DIY? My son will be 6 months on December 4th so I want to do his 1/2 a year birthday photos and our family Christmas card all together and I’m looking for ideas!? I thought about getting them professionally done but it’s so much money and I kind of want to save it for his first birthday!

We’re doing a professional Christmas “mini”. 20 minutes, 10 digital photos, this Sunday. It’s affordable and the pictures are great quality.

Pinterest has great ideas. Am doing mine on my own. It is fun and you get to take your time and save lots of money. Only the editing may be put off so much as you have a baby to attend to but u can sure enough work on at least a few snaps.

But if you’re looking for ideas, we always have a fun little shoot at the Christmas tree farm we get our tree at. They have all the trees, tons of decor, a little sleigh. Perfect scenery for pictures!

We have ours this Sunday! I actually won a maternity photo shoot that never came to fruition because of the pregnancy being high risk so our photographer offered a holiday photo shoot for our girls as a way to make up for it! I can’t wait!!
