Why do I over-commit?

Tomorrow I'll be 37 weeks. I agreed to go into headquarters, aka 70min train ride as well. I have some HR stuff for maternity leave they said they're swamped and it would be easier if I came in, and I figured a face-to-face with my maternity coverage would be best. And they were having a special Halloween event, so of course I said I would make apple pie cupcakes.

So only today it hits me I'll be balancing my baby bump, coat, bag/laptop, and a cupcake case on the packed train... and i haven't even lifted a finger to start baking yet, because Im too tired to peel any apples.

UPDATE: I finished my cupcakes!! But I also scheduled a dinner and a play after work with coworkers, so I'll be home super late. Lol. More stuff!!
