Double strollers for two under 3?

I am expecting my second child in March and my son will be 20 months when she is born. Would you say a double stroller for kids so close in age is worth it? I would get one of the back- and-front ones, not side by side.

I have one (4 kids each are 21-26 months apart) but my kids pretty much outgrew the stroller by age 3. I have the city select because it converts from single to double, so I can still use it for baby when toddler doesn't use it. I believe uppababy does the same.

So I JUST became a mom of two, my oldest is 20 months and my youngest 2 weeks old. I thought before having the youngest that it would be no big deal to hold off on a double stroller. I mean it’s getting cold where I’m at, why would I need one? It wasn’t until yesterday when I was struggling to get them both in the doctor’s office for his 2 week check up that I decided I definitely need a double stroller. I don’t like baby wearing. I don’t have anyone to watch my kids since my husband works, so anywhere I have to go so do they. Needless to say, I’ve been looking online for a reasonably priced double stroller to help me survive ever since yesterday lol I’m hoping to find a gently used one.

I have a newborn and a 2.5 years old and I have a side by side double stroller. We go on a lot of walks (we have a dog) and use the stroller every day for all our errands. So for us it's worth it, but it all depends on your lifestyle.

My daughter just turned 2 last week and loves going for walks; we use our stroller pretty much everyday... I get exercise while she reads books and then we play at the park. I’m due in 4 weeks with baby number 2, so getting a double stroller is a no brainer for us. I would base your decision on how much you currently use your stroller.
