Blood test while sick?

So I have to go and get blood test before the 3rd of November and I'm extremely sick. Really bad cold or something. Is it okay to get blood taken while sick or should I wait?

It’s fine to have blood drawn, just make sure you are hydrated

Maybe just make a note that you were sick and then if your white blood cell count is different than normal, it could explain why.
