HELP ME 😭

So me and my ex of 5 years broke up in the beginning of August and then became friends in September. We started doing things like hanging out and having sex but i kept telling him i wasn’t really trying to get back in a relationship at the moment because i want to focus on myself and mental health. So recently I’ve been thinking about how confusing we’re making our situation so i decided to tell him i don’t think we should be having any sexual intercourse at the moment if I’m not ready to get back with him. Pretty he agreed on it saying he was thinking the same thing and everything was good until the next morning when i texted him and i didn’t get a reply. It’s been about a week now and I’m just confused as to why he would say he agreed on it and then just stop texting without giving me any explanation as to why like one thing about me i need closure so without it it’s really getting to me. Soooo someone give me some advice.
