I'm 23 and looking at getting braces again. I had then from 12 to 15 but didnt wear my retainer and they moved again. Now my dentist is saying he wants to remove my front bottom tooth so they dont crowd again in the future.. but i googled it and it said its not the best idea to remove adult teeth unless they are rotten or if it is absolutely necessary, which the dentist said it is not.. I'm terrified of needles on my mouth.. and the thought of having a massive gap at the front of my mouth for 6 months... i need help and opinions. I'm looking at getting a second opinion but wanted to post on here incase someone has had something similar.
