Child support review?

Have any of you mommas gone through a child support review through the courts? If so... what happens if you don’t show up? 
The reason why I don’t want to show up is cause I just feel as if I’m such a pushover, he wants to make an agreement like we did 3 years ago and he never complied with it.. so I’m not trying to make any type of agreement.. and I know it is definitely going to increase cause he got a higher position.... so I’m just looking for some advice .

Yeah you’re definitely going to want to show up.. bring a lawyer if you don’t want to be a push over, because they can basically talk for you

If you don't show up the court can make a decision on your behalf also it will probably go in his favour ie. a lower amount

I’m pretty sure they review both of your incomes and how many kids you support. My fiancé and I are currently agreeing on support for his oldest and her mom. She’s agreeing to less because we are offering to help outside of the court with other things. I’d say let the courts decide what he pays. You offered him a deal before and he didn’t go along with it and at the end of the day he’s only trying to make an agreement with you to get out of paying what the county says he should.

You don't have to agree to anything. The court has a standard formula and the judge will plug in all the financial numbers as well as placement time and the judge will let you know what it is. You don't even need to speak to your ex, the judge will do everything for you.

Always go!!! If you aren't there they make changes without you that will not go in your favor. Also even if he does make more it may increase or even decrease depending on if he has anymore children of his own that aren't with you.

Don’t EVER choose to not show up for court. Even if you have a lawyer to argue on your behalf. It makes it look like you don’t care about the case or the outcome, it disrespects the court’s time, it gives the other side a chance to say whatever they want without you arguing.
