help, my dog is acting out

i am about 14 weeks pregnant & had to get hospitalized a couple weeks ago due to how sick i’ve been. it was the first time ever since we’ve gotten our dog that i didn’t seem him, i hadn’t gone even one day without seeing him but i was admitted to the hospital for 4 days. ever since then he has been acting out. pooping on our floor, chewing on our stuff, eating our staircase banister, etc. he’s only 1 years old but he’s seriously been the best puppy/dog ever. i’m just really confused & having a hard time with what to do. i don’t understand why he’s acting this way, i don’t know if it’s because i left him for a few days or if it’s because he can tell i’m pregnant & he doesn’t know what it means or what. any advice or tips? anyone else been through this?
