Is this guy interested or playing?

So this guy has been interested in me and he says how he wants to talk to me and be in his life. He calls me beautiful and all that cute stuff. We are both in college and we text, not a lot but we text sometimes we give each other late replies. He works and goes to school and has his own life which is fine.

But I mean I wish I could hear from him more often but maybe I’m asking for too much. I don’t want to be too clingy and scare him away.

But do y’all think he’s giving enough attention as he can?

Or is he just not putting in effort
