Can I ask the ultrasound tech for pictures?

When I went in for my anatomy scan I only got three pictures. With my last two babies I got a bunch. I have another ultrasound on the 12th and was wondering if itd be rude to ask for more pictures?

Girl I got NONE at my anatomy scan, just the disc. I cried and cried about it. I’m still upset I don’t have that momento. 
With my son I always had the strip of pictures to take home and look at/show family whenever I wanted. I also got a disc with video/pictures on it. My son is almost 8 years old and guess how many times I’ve looked at that disc?...0 times. None. 
I’m going to ask my husband if we can do a private scan with 3D, there’s several places around to do so. I’ll get my pictures and be able to see my baby girl’s face.

I think it really depends on the tech. With my first baby I ended up having four ultrasounds and at the last one I asked if she could give me something besides a profile picture. She gave me a picture of the heart, which was really special for me because I we have a lot of heart issues and I was so nervous at first but she was fine. Anyway, I’ve always gotten 5-6 pictures on average. I’m happy to get any and think how amazing we have this technology because it wasn’t long ago that ultrasounds didn’t exist. Personally I would feel too greedy asking for more more but if you feel comfortable with it ask and they can say no but at least you asked.

Just ask i always go omg thats a good picture and they will snap and print my 3rd child i have litterly  6 photos total from 4 ultrasounds my first i have tons! And my middle baby i only got a few. This baby ive gotten  10 so far
