Do you think I’ll be glad I have a double stroller?

I’m a minimalist at heart and live in a big city. For my daughter’s first 9 months I carried her around in an Ergo and only switched to our City Mini GT when she was getting too heavy. I loved the Ergo because it was so easy to move about - to go for walks and enter and leave shops (most of which have narrow doors and are not handicap accessible). With our 2nd on the way and our babies 20 months apart, their grandmas chipped in to buy us a City Select Lux with a 2nd seat and a bassinet to use for the first 2-4 months (my daughter hated her car seat so I was never able to go on a walk with her strapped into the thing - a carrier was the only option).

So now I have a cheap umbrella stroller (to use for the rare occasion when we need to get on a bus or the subway), a City Mini GT (which I love, but obviously only holds one child and requires that I keep the new baby in a carrier, but is great for when we travel on airplanes), and the City Select (which can be a double, and is the only stroller we have that we received new - on sale, but still pricey!). It’s important to note that we only have one car as a family and so during weekdays I don’t have access to a vehicle and I am a stay-at-home-mom. Most things are accessible by walking, and so we walk a lot (sometimes over a mile one way).

I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed and greedy for having three strollers. Will I be glad I have the new City Select double eventually? For the baby’s first 9 months I feel I could probably do without...but honestly when I had my daughter strapped to me I was never also bending down to tend to a toddler, so maybe it’ll be nice to have a stroller option for both kids sooner than I’d anticipate.

Thoughts?
