Dating a 25 year old

Am I wrong for wanting to take the steps towards marriage and wanting to get engaged???

I’m 23 and he’s 25 we’ve been together since I was freaking 18. Granted I work at Starbucks and I’m going to school online so I don’t have a real career or I’m not bringing in endless money currently. But I want to be engaged I want him to pop the question.

I always ask when are we getting married / engaged and he always says “soon”

His brother has been dating his girlfriend less than a year and already talks about marrying her. My boyfriend tells me always he wants to marry me and let’s get married but what steps need to be taken? This is frustrating as hell.
