any recommendations on a breast pump? & why?

My medela was awful... after doing research it looks like spectra is the way to go... I'm just trying to decide between the plug in or battery operated one

I used the medela w no issues and I exclusively pumped for 9 months so it was my bff. This time around I qualify for another so I decided to get spectra only since my medela still works I can change it up a little.

I used a spectra last time and I liked it a lot. I will use it this time as well but I also bought a willow pump so I can have more portability when needed. I was unable to get my son to latch properly last time, so I want to be over-prepared this time in case I need to exclusively pump.

I say don’t invest too much in it. I had a manual one with my first child and it worked perfectly.

Check with your insurance to see if they cover breast pumps before purchasing one out of pocket.
