After a miscarriage

After a miscarriage do you wait until you have your actual period to start your ovulation test? I no I been told you can get pregnant right after a miscarriage. I'm really scared doctor said we could resume to having x after I lost the baby I would just bleed a little more I did in fact but now its brown n a little pinkish an I passed our baby on my own but my ovary felt weird a couple days ago could this been ovulation again? Does anyone think I could of gotten pregnant again? Thanks lady's
