Lovey Blanket

My little one started a pattern at night where he feeds and after falls asleep in my arms. I put him down and he wiggles and cries out a little. So I pick him up and rock him and put him down once he’s fallen asleep. I do this cycle about 2/3 times before he’s actually fine and goes down on his own. I do let him cry it out a little since he’s not in full mode cry but he usually doesn’t calm down after about the 3rd time rocking him. So tonight I decided to take out the lovey and give it to him. He immediately rubs his face against it and starts to snuggle it calms down and falls asleep. I did take it away after 15min of him sleeping so that he wouldn’t cover his face with it. My question is when did you mommas start letting your little ones sleep with them throughout the night? My baby boy is 10 weeks 4 days old by the way.
