Beyond frustrated, could he have swallowed a battery

My SO works 12 hour days. He got out of work this morning at 5AM and knew he would be watching our 2 year old that afternoon at 1 because I had a family event I needed to attend and long story short it wasnt a setting for a toddler to be in. Anywho, he got home at about 530 and didn't end up going to sleep until almost 9 even if after i told him around 7 that he needed to get some sleep because he would have to be up in 6 hours. He shrugged me off and kept watching Netflix.

So he watched our son until I got home and we went grocery shopping and ate and then when we got home he went to play video games for a couple hours, no biggie. 9 rolls around and I ask him if he can wrap it up so he can help put our son to sleep because he goes to sleep so much easier because hes who he wants on the weekends after not seeing him all week long. He comes out and lays on the couch with him but our toddler isnt intrested in sleeping just yet so I ask him if he can keep an eye on him while I shower.

I get out of the shower and notice the television is off so I'm thinking maybe he got our son to sleep. But nope, the only one sleeping is my SO on the couch while our toddler is on the floor with the remote, back of the remote is missing as well as the batteries. I found one battery but couldn't find the other. So here I am 8 months pregnant laying on the floor trying to locate this other battery while my SO is laying on the couch watching me. I'm furious, aggravated and worried that my 2 year old may have swallowed this battery and all he can say is, "I'm sure its somewhere, he wouldn't swallow a battery." After looking under all the couches and recliner, I still cant locate this battery and tell him we should take him to the hospital to make sure he didn't swallow it. And hes all like if you want to take him to the ER then you can do it by yourself. He wouldn't swallow a battery, he gags by just putting his fingers in his mouth. I am so irate. He couldn't even watch our child for 15 minutes while I took a shower. And then mad at me for being upset that he could have swallowed a battery and making me feel dumb for even thinking it was a possibility. He could play that damn video game for 2 hours but can't keep his eyes open long enough to watch our son. Literally about to smash that damn xbox 😡🤬🤬
