Anal stuff

So my husband and I are both really into anal stuff (like for me, not on him). When we first started dating we used to use butt plugs and stuff and I loved them but since we’ve gotten married and gotten older I’ve suffered from hemorrhoids and can’t do it anymore. I really want to but I know my asshole will be in pain if I do. What can I do? I’ve tried everything (the creams and wipes and stuff) and they don’t hurt but using a butt plug will aggravate them
