Tested + for group B strep

This may be a dumb question but what exactly does this mean?? Last year when I had my son, I tested negative for it, and now this pregnancy I’ve tested positive. I still ended up going on IV antibiotics last year as did my son bc I had a fever during my labor/delivery.
