Is It Okay?

I’m the kind of person where I like to get my holiday shopping over with as quick and easy as possible. I already have my list of people who automatically get gifts from me (mom, dad, sister) and I’m waiting to add names to it because I have to wait until my extended family draws names to see who buys for who. The only person I’m unsure of getting a gift for is my mom’s boyfriend. He’s very nice and my sister and I both think he’s okay. I just don’t know if it’s appropriate to get him a gift because my mom and him haven’t been together that long and I don’t want him to feel awkward in case he didn’t buy a gift for me in return (not that I expect him to). If I were to get him a gift I would just get something to do with his favorite football team because you can’t go wrong with that. Would if he okay if I got him a Christmas gift, too?
