Mamas who've had sweeps or inductions- help!

Next week my doctor is going to try to break my waters and try induce me (my baby has iugr and I'll be 38 and a half weeks). He said small babies dont tolerate inductions well and may have to have a c section if things dont progress well. He also said breaking waters and induction is tricky after previous c section (December 2017). So I'm looking for a few mamas to give me some ideas how sweeps/inductions work. Also if you had your waters broken, how soon did you do into labor? Any similar stories, or mamas that just want to share some love are welcome too! ❤
