Children in the delivery room?

I want to bring my first son to see me deliver his brother. I’m going to have family and their dad there in case he needs something. I’m just curious as to how many other moms that their older child in the delivery room during birth

To each their own! I just feel like there are things in life kids don’t need to see. Theirs mothers’ vagina being basically ripped in half is one of them. Guess it depends on the age of the kid though 🤷🏼‍♀️

The hospital delivered at doesnt allow children in the delivery room. I also wouldn't want them in there, especially with how the birth of my first and fourth went.

My mother allowed me to attend the birth of my youngest 2 siblings. I was 10? When my youngest brother was born. It was a great experience but I wouldnt want my children that are 6 and 5 and 2 to attend. I think they're too young in my personal opinion.

I personally wouldn’t. All births are different and you never know what can happen. I wouldn’t want my child in there if something were to go wrong.

I was 12 and 13 when my mom gave birth to my youngest siblings. We never planned on me watching. I can remember being so afraid thinking I was going to have to witness the labor on accident. It made me feel really awkward and was something I totally wanted to avoid. I would have good realistic talk with your child to see if it’s something they are interested in witnessing.

I wouldn't want my child seeing...all that. Even if they didn't see what was going on "downstairs" I wouldn't want them to see me in that much pain.
