If your kids are close in age...

What did you do with the first one while you were in labor with the second one?

My baby will be about a year and 3 months by the time this next one comes... As of now we are the only ones who have watched her. Our only family in town is his mother who is not capable of taking her. And we don't really have friends. (his closest are in Vegas and my closest are back in Minnesota... States away)

And when I suggested that my husband stay home with her for most of it, he said no, that he wanted to be there for all of it.

(maybe we could bring the pack and play and let her sleep in the hospital with us... I would feel better having her there anyway, but I'm not sure if that's allowed...idk just an idea)

So I'm just wondering what you guys did with your kiddos?
