How many diapers do you use in the first year ladies?

Hey ladies I'm due June 2020. We are trying to stock up on diapers now before the baby gets here. I was wondering roughly how many newborn diapers should I buy? Also how many diapers varying from size newborn to maybe size 5 should I get. Thank you alot :)

I wouldn’t stock up on diapers. Especially that many. Not until you at least know they are working for your baby and your baby is not sensitive or allergic to them. Same goes for wipes. You need to test them all out first. And in my experience there is no way to know how long they will wear one particular size. We never went by the size they say on the packages. Some babies are born bigger, some smaller, shorter, taller, etc. This can all impact the size they wear.

The Pampers website has recommendations on it, I don't remember exactly the amount. But if you do stock up, get a variety of brands just in case baby is allergic or you happen to not like them. You can exchange unopened diapers and wipes at any store, like Wal-Mart and Target, at anytime, no matter when they were bought if you end up having some you don't like or can't use.

It varies so much from baby to baby. Do a diaper raffle at your baby shower, we got tons that way. Also it doesn’t matter what size you purchase cause you can always take them back to the store and swap for a different size as long as they’re not open. My son was a good size baby and my daughter is estimated to be even bigger so we bought one good size thing of newborns (104 count I think) and it may be the only box we need to get if she follows the same pattern as her brother.

I dont have any good recommendations. My daughter was born a day shy of 40 weeks and came home in preemie diapers and didn’t wear newborn until she was 2.5 months and wore those until she was 4 months. She’s also allergic to LUVs and had to return those. This time I’m just buying gift cards to the store for the amount of the diapers, and that way I don’t spend any money when the time comes lol

I’d purchase gift certificates/cards instead. So when you need them you can grab them. We were gifted a ton of size 2 diapers bc our friends/family swore their kids were in them the longest....our baby was in them for maybe 3 weeks at best. 
I also think eating our gift cards are something great to stock up on. We ate our more often than we planned. 1. To get out of the house. 2. For convenience
