It depends how long it took him to get to sleep and how desperately I need a break.   If I’ve barely slept over the course of 24 hours, I definitely tip toe while I quick eat and attempt a nap.

My LO has always been a light sleeper. We tried early on to make noise, vacuum etc & he’d wake up every time! So I stopped, it’s just not worth waking the baby. People would give me a hard time like “oh we trained our baby to sleep through noise” ... ugh no you made noise & your baby slept 👏👏 good for you, mine didn’t 😝. Now that he’s older, he’s better & I can do more.

When my 14 month old was a little younger, he’d easily sleep through music or the vacuum...but if I tried to quietly put him down and my knee would crack, he’d wake up screaming.🤦‍♀️

I did when he struggled to sleep. From birth he never slept deep. Now at 2 I seem to crash into everything while leaving his room and he won't wake up. I got a lot of crap from family about it but as a baby he would wake up every hour or two no matter what. The last thing I wanted to do was make noise to wake him even earlier.

For naps I do, because if she wakes up early there’s no getting her back to sleep and then she’s going to be cranky until bedtime. For nighttime, not at all. We had a party at home the other day with 70+ people and blasting music, she doesn’t care and never has, if she wakes up she just turns around and goes back to sleep.
