My back has been killing since my boobs grew out of nowhere in the second trimester 😩

That's incorrect... My husband and I both worked in the field and most take insurance. Call the number on the back of your card and ask for eligibility and benefits. Ask what type of coverage you have for chiro and if your plan requires a referral. Ask which doctors near you are in your tier 1 network so you don't get stuck with a chiro that says he takes your insurance but is really a tier 2 or 3 doc and you have to pay more out of pocket.

Nope.  I’d ask for recommendations from the OB/midwives office.  Otherwise, make sure it’s one that specializes in pregnancy.

My chiro takes insurance and is great... she is certified for prenatal care as well... I go every few weeks when I need a good adjustment. Also... no note needed.

Very seldom do good chiros accept insurance. In which case no you don't need one unless the chiro wants to know you're not high risk.

I didn’t need a note from my OB when I was seeing a chiropractor. Also... best decision seeing one. My back hurt more in the second trimester when i didn’t have much of a bump than it does now at 39 weeks.
