Feelings of regret?

I LOVE MY BABY! But....have any other moms had feelings of regret since you had your baby? I love him more than life but I’m so tired and I do miss my old life. I don’t feel depressed I don’t think.

I have no regrets but I do feel freakin tired. Lol. And I miss being able to go out of the house for simple things like brunch. And I miss sleeping more than 2-3 hours at a time. But I love my son more than anything.

I don’t feel regret at all but sometimes I get a little sad. It’s normal. We’ve had a HUGE life change and it’s a major adjustment.

I was just so afraid! I really that I was the only one ! I absolutely love my son he’s what I always wanted but besides missing my old life I feel scared of being a mom ! From now on I am worried all the time from the biggest things to the smallest..

I feel the same way. I love my baby girl more than anything, but I do miss my old life and being able to go out with friends on a whim. Sometimes it’s a bit overwhelming to think that this is my life forever now. It’s a huge change and it will take time to grow accustomed to it. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world, but it’s hard to say goodbye to things I used to enjoy that I can no longer do with a baby.

I had a hard time the first week and I would just start crying from feeling overwhelmed. My mom told me it’s okay to grieve for the life you had. We are going through major life changes and it’s normal to look back and think, “My life will never be the same.” Doesn’t mean we don’t love our babies, it’s just going to take time to adjust to this new life.

I feel very similar.  Not necessarily regret but sadness that my old life is done and I’m also exhausted.  I love my daughter and seeing my husband be a loving father is so amazing but I do have times where I feel a bit blue.  I feel those feeling will pass, we are all sleep deprived and just went through a major life event! Glad to know I am not the only one!
