Sometimes my 2yo will get so angry when he throws tantrums that he throws his toys, tries to hit me, and sometimes he even bangs his head on the floor as a last resort for attention when I don’t give in to his tantrums. Usually they’re caused if I take something away from him, or if I try to remove him from a dangerous or messy situation (putting wads of toilet paper in the toilet, pulling silverware out of the drawers, pulling out glass cookware from the cabinets, climbing on the countertop to pull something off, etc). Basically anytime he is told “no” he gets upset with me and it causes full tears, screaming, etc. I’m just wondering if this is normal? Especially the occasional head banging for attention. He’s generally a very happy, kind, easygoing kid, but when he hears “no” he completely loses it and all sense of calmness and rationality goes out the window. *sigh*
