Can I get in trouble?

So I had a baby boy 3 months ago and I am taking a trip driving to Arizona at the end of the month just for two days however my ex is saying I can’t take him out of state without permission? Neither of us have established custody we have just been co parenting since he was born. My son has lived with me since he was born also. We are not married.

It’s a two day trip and no case worker is going to care that the mother of a child took her own child on a small vaca. Sounds like he’s just pissy.

It is only a problem if y’all have a custody agreement, however he can go and try to file paperwork saying something like your trying to kidnap the child and he wants to file file for joint custody... then you’ll have a problem
