Sex in third trimester

Ok so I need some advice. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and I just want sex. My husband is very uncomfortable about the whole thing so we just dont do it. We both know it's safe to do but we just dont. This is our first so we are both a little nervous about it. But my question is what you all think about sex toys? I was reading in my What to Expect When Expecting book and it says that sex toys are ok, but I'm a little nervous about that because alot of sex toys are vibrator. So what do you ladies think. Is it ok to use them?
