I have a right to be mad about this, right?

My boyfriend had been sitting quiet for at least half an hour maybe longer. I finally decided to ask him what's wrong and he got really defensive and angry. He started yelling and cursing at me. I told him he'd be pissed if I did that to him and asked him again what's wrong and he said it's him and that should answer my question. I said talk to me and he got even madder saying I'd just make it about me or feel bad for him? Like what the fuck? He said it's not my problem and I said of course it fucking is when it involves the person I love. ;---; Now I'm sitting crying in our bathroom.
