Pregnant?

(okay this probably isn’t the place to put this but I don’t know where else) I’m pregnant and I’m 15. I’ve been with my boyfriend for a year and yes I’m on birth control, so I don’t know exactly what happened. My boyfriend has been with me while I’ve taken 2 tests that were both positive and i don’t know what to do now. we both know that of course 15 year olds are often not at all ready to take care of a baby, we’re still kids ourselves. but something about getting an abortion seems wrong, I’m not against it at all I just don’t know. he started crying at the idea of it and said it would be so sad because it’s ours. i know its ridiculous because we’re so young but it’s so awful to think about. adoption isn’t really seeming great idea because we’d both be so attached.  If you were me, what would you do? does anyone have any advice?

You both need to talk to your parents and let them know about the pregnancy. Consider the pros and cons of your options: a) continue pregnancy and raise the baby, b) continue pregnancy and give the baby up for adoption, or c) abort the baby.
As a parent myself, I can tell you that it is such a difficult, yet rewarding, experience to raise your child; however, everyone has different opinions. I had my first child at 25, and by that time I had plenty of opportunities to be wild and crazy so I didn’t miss out on any of that.
While I hope you choose life for your sweet baby, ultimately the decision is yours. Praying that things work out for the best.

Plenty of mothers have babies at 15. Women have been doing it since the dawn of time. Ultimately it is you decision. But I think you should go with what you think you’ll be able to cope with. Abortion isn’t an easy decision and you may wind up regretting it for the rest of your life. Motherhood isn’t easy either, but with help it’s possible.

You should have a sit down conversation with your boyfriend and your parents/guardians. This is very serious. I think everything will be ok and at the end of the day the decision is up to you and your boyfriend. What birth control were you on?

If I were you, I would have an abortion. That doesn’t mean you have to have one, but that’s what I would do. I was pregnant at 13 and found out too late and wasn’t able to have an abortion. I adopted the baby out to another family as I know I wasn’t ready to be a parent. There is a lot to being a parent. I’m not trying to scare you, but there is a lot you will need to think about if you decide to keep the baby and be a mother.

Hi I am currently 15 and just had a baby girl. At first when I found out I wanted a abortion because I was scared so I sat down with my mom and told her everything it was very hard to tell her because I was 14 at the time turning 15.We had like a 3 hour talk and I decided I wanted to keep the baby.Now I am still in school and raising a 2 month old baby girl.

My boyfriend and I (m16 f15) had a pregnancy scare for a couple weeks last month and we were SO scared because our families are Christian. We got a false positive so we thought we were. We talked about every little thing down to how we would raise him or her and realized that even if we are kids we would forget ourselves to take care of OUR baby boy or girl. Just know you CAN do it. Don’t let anyone influence you to do something you’ll regret. It sounds like you want your baby, so have it and keep it! You’ll have to start working and so will your boyfriend, but you can do it and you’ll have each other if no one else. Good luck:)

I was 15 when I got pregnant and had my baby at 16. I’m doing just fine with the help of my baby’s father. It’s tough at times, but it always gets better. I’m about to be 17 and my baby is about to be 5 months this month. ❤️
