Is this normal

This is my first pregnancy and my baby regularly gets these episodes where she will feel like a heartbeat. I asumed this was hiccups, but my sister in law who is pregnant with her 2nd baby has noticed the same consistant heartbeat like movements from her baby and she says they are not hiccups. Does anyone know what this is? Again at least once a day I feel consistant movements from my baby, she feels like a heartbeat in my stomach. They last anywhere from 5 min to 15 minutes. Thanks!
