Can cervical length

Can cervical length increase? My high risk ob measure me at 3.2 and then the next week my regular ob said now it was 3.8. I been feeling pressure down there and feeling the way I did a month before I had my daughter at 34 weeks. I asked if they would check for dilating but the doctor said no because the cervical length is good. I just don’t think it can grow back like that
