Baby not sleeping
This last week my 10 month old has decided he won’t sleep unless I’m basically holding him. Normally he sleeps in his pack n play for a few hours before getting upset and getting in bed with us where he sleeps between us and sleeps great. Sometimes he needs to be touching me to get back to sleep but not often. Well this week he will not sleeping unless he is right up next to me with my arm under him and the other one around him so I’m not getting much sleep. And it has to be me. I’ve pushed him over to my husband to get some sleep and he just cries til I take him back. Is this normal for a 10 month old? If so how long does it usually last?
How do I get him to use a sippy cup? His dr has been pushing for him to use one for months now and I’ve tried several. I’ve tried the regular sippy cups and the straw cups and the 360 cup. He wants nothing to with them. He was breastfed when I was home until 9 months and breastfed once a day until yesterday and has used a tommee tippee bottle when he had/has bottles.
I had no issues with the last baby I took care of (I had custody of a baby several years ago) he’s 6 now. I had him completely off of the bottle by 10 months and he was putting himself to sleep every night at 9 months. He was never breastfed though. Not sure that makes a difference.
