It scares the hell out of me

The news of today’s tragic event at the high school in California makes me want to put my daughters in indestructible bubbles. Gun laws won’t protect our kids. Bans on automatic weapons aren’t going to protect them either. The reality has hit that today a young man in a state with some of the strictest gun laws in the nation walked into his high school and in 16 seconds he killed 2 people and injured 3 more before turning the gun on himself with a .45 caliber HAND GUN... it was a pistol and he rocked hundreds of lives. It is so so sad that kids can’t even go to school safely anymore and so so sad that on his 16th birthday, someone woke up feeling like this was his only option out of whatever he was going through. Prayers to all those impacted. I can’t even imagine.
