Stage 2 foods?

Has anyone gave their baby stage 2 foods yet? I make half of his food/buy the other half. He’ll be 6 months in a couple of weeks and has been eating baby food since 4 months. He now does the chewing/mouthing motion when he eats and doesn’t spit out any of it. Just wondering if the consistency is dramatically different?

I don't think the consistency is different, I think its moreso that it usually blends two flavors together. As long as your little one has tried all the basic veggies and fruits with no food allergies he should be okay. They are usually like kale and sweet potato, banana and mango, or other blends.

I think there’s chunks but we give our son stage 2 oatmeal and it’s fine. It’s banana

My LO just turned 5 months and I have given him the stage 2 I just watered it down bc it was a little thicker and he did fine with it. He had green beans and corn mix and then another mixed veggies one and he was good.

Girlie has been eating stage 2 foods for about a week now. She’ll be 6 months on the 4th. I do think they’re slightly thicker than stage 1 foods. You could always add a little water to thin it out if you’re concerned about thickness. Our babe seems to be doing really well with it as is.

My mom told me stage 2 single ingredients are just thicker consistency! My boy is 5 months and he had his first stage 2 pears tonight and lovedddd!!
