Submucosal fibriod

Hi, my hubby is 44 and I'm 35 and we are trying to conceive for 1 year, 4 months and 11 days ( we had a miscarriage at 18 weeks) when we were pregnant the first time they found a small fibriod, 2 cm, on the scan nothing to worrie about. After the miscarriage I tried 3 cycles of clomid (50mg) and hubby got tested. His results came back all clear. I had a scan yesterday, and they found a submusosal fibroid in my uterine cavity, it's 8 cm (3 inch). Anyone has any experience with this? And is 8 cm considered a large fibroid? I've spoken to my gp shortly about this and we have a talk with the consultant in December to discuss options.. I've heard about several surgical options and medications.. what are your experiences with any of these options?
