Co-Parenting concern

Hey ladies! I have a concern question. My ex and I are no longer together and he hasn’t done anything for our child. But he does see our child 6 hours out the day when he ask for our child. Anyways recently our child has a very bad cold/cough that I had to bring our child to the ER for. It turns out that she also has an ear infection due to her cold. My question is if I am wrong for letting him know that he can’t pick her up until I can get her better first before he can pick her up especially with the weather changing?
