My boyfriend and I have been together for a long time. He went into the military and his bootcamp graduation is Thanksgiving week. Recently a couple of my friends just got engaged. Of course I'm happy for them. But what made me so upset was when one of my friends brought up if I was going to get married.

Friend 1: "Hey Tay! I realized your in military relationship."

Me: "Yes I am. I told you this."

Friend 1: "You want to know a fun fact"

Me: "Yes I do"

Friend 1: "People who are in a Military relationship at a young age get married."

Me: "Wow......Who told you that?"

Friend 1: "My mom. She got married at 19 and my grandma got married to my grandpa who was a sergeant when she was 17."

Me: "Damn..."

Friend 2: "Are you going to get married?"

Friend 1: "I'll get married when you get married Tay!"

So yeah..... I've been thinking about it lately. I am in love with him and he is in love with me. I thought about my pros and cons. Surprisingly I have more pros than cons. I've been seeing 1111 and 444 alot. So my guardian angels are giving me a sign. Honestly him and I should have a conversation about when we want to get married. I don't know how I should bring up this kind of conversation to him. Any advice?
