Plan B Weight Limit?

I recently found some conflicting data about a weight limit on Plan B. For my plus size women- What is your experience with Plan B? Did it work for you (i know other circumstances contribute but still)? Also, is there another brand of emergency contraception for plus size women? I am planning on losing my virginity using protection, but just incase something happens I would like the option of a pill.

The research on this is not totally conclusive.
To be safe, you can do one of three things when a mishap happens:
* Double the dose of Plan B. There is no danger to that. The side effects will likely not be too pleasant, but it should work.
* Get Ella. Ella is a different combination of hormones, not affected by weight. But unfortunately you can only get it with a prescription. There is however nothing stopping you from just getting it before you even have sex, just in case.
* The other type of emergency contraceptive is getting an IUD fitted in the few days following the sex. For that to be successful you need to be able to get in with your doctor on short notice.

Plan b is not to be used as a form of protection just as an emergency. And not kore than 4 times a year. Please get on birth control and use condoms as a back up in case one fails, then you are covered and should not need it. That stuff really can mess up your system, if you read the box, I would not touch the stuff. Sadly pharmaceutical companies only think skinny women can have accidents and don’t really think of anyone else. There are a few different types of emergency contraceptive on the shelf but I don’t think any of them cater to higher weight limits. Please be safe.

I recently googled it because I forgot where (maybe here) someone posted about the weight limit. Google said it was like 175-180.
