Side tattoos pain?

Question

How painful is a side stomach tattoo I wanna get one just below my ribs and down towards my hip.

Everyone says they are the worst, but honestly it was my first tattoo and my pain tolerance is pretty low and I didn’t think it was that bad, and it isn’t a lasting pain. It only hurts when the needle is on you so the bigger the tattoo obviously the more pain but they will give you breaks if needed ect, but I didn’t even need them. I would definitely get another one. 
& I’m really skinny by the way so he was hitting a couple of my rib bones and it still wasn’t that bad. My period honestly has caused worse pain.

I haven’t found it that bad. I think my elbows and fingers were worse. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t fun but in comparison to others it was pretty easy.

I've never personally experienced it. But my ex has one from nip to hip and I watched him literally fall asleep during.
